What is AWANA?

Freedom is excited to be adding the Awana program to our children's ministry on Sunday nights. This curriculum offers a special class for each age group starting with age 2 to 5th grade.


"For over six decades, the Lord has used the ministry of Awana to reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world. The unchanging truth of the gospel drives the same vision we’ve held all these years to reach children in every corner of the globe as we walk boldly into the future and continue to be used by God to help change the world."


Awanas are currently meeting Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm

Our awana Clubs

Awana offers curriculum that reaches kids and their families with the gospel. Their proven and adaptable curriculum develops leaders and disciples kids to walk with Christ for life.  At Freedom, the curriculum and programs start at age 2 and continue through grade 5.  Large group teaching, small group discipleship, and engagement time make up the flexible structure of the Awana approach.

    AGES 2-3


    PUGGLES® recognizes the learning ability of young children by introducing biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to teach them at home.

    Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.
